Have you ever wondered why you can't seem to get your lotion to last. Why you try numerous balms, butters, lotions, creams....everything you can imagine but yet you still look like a dehydrated prehistoric dinosaur an hour after you apply?
When the epidermis has a harsh layer of dead skin on the outer portion it is hard for your body to allow the penetration of the hydration of your moisturizer.. Leaving your skin feeling dull and dry and your pocketbook empty with all the promises of youthful looking skin down the drain. All skin in different, When you are young and when you are much older I believe a more mild exfoliation is necessary. Young skin usually doesn't get the brunt of the build up and older folks have thiner skin so gentle is the way to go. This is why I created the Sugar Oat Mimosa Scrub. It is lightly exfoliating the skin with the organic coconut sugars and organic raw sugars. The organic oats are blended to a mix that will help gently remove dirt and oils that clog the pores, it helps treat acne , has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties and treats dead skin. Oats contain a compound called saponins, which is a natural cleanser. When you exit the shower you will already feel your skin glowing. The fresh citrus scented blend will make you relaxed as if you've had a nice delicious mimosa in the shower. You need not rub the skin but gently pat it dry. For a more invigorating scrub I highly recommend the Peppermint Latte Scrub. It is made with the most amazing and most luxurious salts from the Dead Sea, this scrub helps reduce aging, the depth of wrinkles on the body, and treats body acne and psoriasis. This is why I like to have my clients leave it on the skin for a bit (turn the shower off when you scrub) and after is sits for a bit I like to rescrub the surface one more time. The salt will stimulate the blood circulation and with the added organic coffee it can help reduce the appearance of cellulite. It's also very calming, has vitamin B-3 to help fight cancer and reduces inflammation in the skin. The peppermint will leave you feeling like you have walked out of a spa. And with both of my scrubs you will not need to even hydrate the day you exfoliate the skin with NOSH BODY because it is the most hydrating scrub you will ever experience. The organic beeswax and organic oils will do the work that day. So just enjoy being pampered! You will know when you need to exfoliate again but everyones skin is different. I suffer from aging dry skin and so I exfoliate 2xs a week with the latte and 1x a week with the mimosa. I like the mix because midweek I like the lighter formula and use it on my face. I do not recommend using the Peppermint Latte Scrub on the face as I think it is too abrasive. After doing this though you will notice a huge difference in your skin! You will need far less product of moisturizer as it should seep into the skin and not sit on the surface. I tell my NOSH BODY clients a little should go a long way. Your skin can only take In so much and if your putting too much on it's a waste. This should help you though with how your use your moisturizer and it should last you much longer. It should glide on and be a thin layer, if you look greasy you've over used! Start off small amounts you can always add more is what I do. I hope this helps you have better results with your skin and by knowing that you need to remove that dead layer you'll feel lighter....not your pocketbook (wink). Shalene Creator of NOSH BODY

Terrific suggestions to go with your terrific products...I must admit my skin does feel a bit ancient and dry at times. Thanks for all you do to make a difference in the way we treat our skin <3

I appreciate the information given in this blog about dead skin cell removal. Routine massage therapy is considered as one of the most effective ways to remove the deposited dead cell from the skin and improve its health. Deposition of dead skin cell has a significant negative influence on the health of a person. So, a person should take suitable initiatives to improve the health of the skin.
